As Johor Bahru is more renowned as a city more than a traditional town, it has more architecture based attractions than cultural ones. Even if this is so, there are some attractions to savour the travel bugs of traveler and tourists. For instance, you can go to the Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque at Jalan Skudai, which is a great sight of Moorish and Victorian architecture while the Sultan Ibrahim Building was built using some Renaissance architectural elements. Nearby the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque is the Johor Zoo which houses the animal homes while for those who likes nature and resorts can go to Danga Bay and Stulang Laut. Otherwise, you can head out to Pulau Sibu for some diving activities. This section of johorbahru.com.my provides you with the directory of all the attractions and activities available in around the city.
